7 Day Countdown

Excitement is building for the 2022 Cops for Kids Ride, as the team prepares to start their journey in just 7 days. Presented by the Impact Tomorrow Foundation, riders will leave Kelowna on Friday September 9^thto spend 10 days cycling across the south east corner of the province to raise funds and awareness for the children in our communities facing illness, disability, or traumatic crisis.

These riders have been training indoors and outdoors for months, logging miles on their bike in preparation for the long days ahead. They have all invested in their own equipment, they’ve volunteered at community events and they’ve all raised a minimum of $2,500 in order to be a part of the team. On Thursday, they’ll say goodbye to their families and home-life to tackle the gruelling days ahead with their like-minded colleagues.

During the days on the road, bonds will be formed through the struggles and triumphs of their own, and through witnessing those of the families we meet. This year, we’ll be making stops in communities across the region to meet the kids who benefit from our efforts. These interactions are lifechanging, and are the reason we pedal each year.
