7 Days Until Pedal Power
As another summer comes to a close, there’s excitement and gratitude as we prepare for the start of the 2024 Cops for Kids Ride, proudly presented by our partners at the Thomas Alan Budd Foundation. In just a week, our dedicated team of riders will set off on this monumental journey, embarking on a ten-day adventure to raise funds and awareness for children in need.
This year’s group of riders is truly exceptional. They have balanced their demanding roles in law enforcement with rigorous training and heartfelt fundraising efforts. Their commitment to this cause stems from a deep understanding that the needs of local families far exceed the resources available, driving them to go the extra mile to support the kids who need us most.
Over the course of the ride, these dedicated individuals will be tested both mentally and physically. They will experience moments of intense challenge and profound emotion as they meet the families whose lives are directly impacted by their efforts. Every mile they pedal, every hill they climb, and every weather condition they endure is fueled by the hope and support of the community they serve.
There will be many opportunities to connect with the team as they make their way across the region. These community gatherings are vital, as they provide the encouragement and inspiration our riders need to push through the heat, rain, and smoke.
