About Us

Cops for Kids is made up of dedicated RCMP officers and personnel from the South East District. Our charitable foundation was formed in 2001 and since inception we have worked tirelessly to raise funds to support children in need in the communities that we serve.

Our signature event, the annual Cops for Kids Ride, gives us the opportunity to not only showcase our generous sponsors but raise awareness and the much needed funds to continue our pledge to assist children in medical crisis. This grueling ten day ride occurs each September over some very challenging mountainous terrain. Each and every rider is constantly reminded of whom we ride for and recognizes that although we may have had a rough day, it’s nothing compared to the challenges that some children face.

We also organize various other fundraising functions throughout the district to keep our grant funding for children ongoing for the entire year. Cops for Kids has established a solid base of sponsors and supporters and continues to broaden the opportunities for sponsorships. We are driven by our commitment to the little hearts that we serve and we are devoted to making a difference in their lives.
